When Jay & CJ approached us to collaborate on their new lighting launch, we knew it was the perfect fit. As two emerging brands driven by creativity and craftsmanship, coming together felt natural. We share a passion for our work, and it’s that dedication that brings great design to life.

Each of the three vignettes is thoughtfully curated—rich in personality, colour, and layers—designed not just to showcase the lighting, but to tell a story. And of course, each one carries the unmistakable Studio Shields touch.

The dining room is a richly layered space for those long nights with friends and family around the table.

The concept behind the Sound Bar was to use materials that feel as if music has penetrated their being. Stone dances, burl swirls and the bricks are the symphony of jazz.

The living room is full of boldness and form. It’s mood but with a classic timeless aesthetic.

Peep is Studio Shields’ debut into lighting, where reclaimed materials are thoughtfully transformed into contemporary design. Crafted from salvaged timber and vintage coloured glass panes, each piece carries the quiet stories of many hands and a lifetime of stories. The design is guided by the materials themselves—an exploration of their natural form and integrity. Each light is a study in mindful craftsmanship, where form and function meet with refined elegance. Peep doesn’t just illuminate a space, it invites a second look, revealing the beauty that lies in the unexpected.
